Who is Compass Working Capital?
Compass is a nonprofit financial services organization working to end asset poverty for families with low incomes and narrow the racial and gender wealth divides. Since 2010, we have partnered with housing providers to offer an asset-building and financial capability model for their Family Self-Sufficiency programs. To date, we have supported nearly 4,500 families to build $12.5M in savings.
Will I have access to ask questions to the Compass team?
As an All-Access FSS Link member and Multifamily Launch Course participant, you'll have the opportunity to get customized support from the Compass Team. After signing up for the course you'll be contacted about scheduling an initial meeting to set your team up to make the most of the training course. You'll also have quarterly data analysis sessions with Compass to track your program's progress over time.
Is this course an eligible training expense on the HUD FSS Coordinator Grant?
Yes, this course and the associated FSS Link membership are all eligible training expenses on the HUD FSS Coordinator grant. See HUD's full list of eligible activities. Pre-approval from HUD is not required prior to purchase (see the HUD FSS FAQ on the HUD FSS Resources Page, "Grant-Related FAQs").
How long will I have access to the course?
